Twelve mills are still preserved here, the location with the highest number of wind mills, just above the Cerro Calderico. They have been standing since the 19th century and all are preserved, except for one, since originally the ensemble was made up of 13 mills.

Consuegra is a town in central Spain, located in western La Mancha, mostly known for its windmills and castle, located on top of the Cerro Calderico (or 'Little Cauldron hill'), and slightly north of the Calderina mountains.

This route starts from the outskirts of Consuegra and climbs up to one of the most characteristic monuments of Castilla la Mancha.
